It's mid January and most of us are dreaming of summer and reminiscing previous journeys we have been on, so we thought we would share some of these with you. Mykonos has been one of our favourite Greek islands for years, with its picturesque cobblestone streets, azure blue waters and insane Greek salad. And whilst July and August is crazy busy, June and September is just divine. Explore its beautiful bays, some with glamorous restaurants and good people watching. Stroll around Chora at night to enjoy beautiful food and some great shopping, explore stunning bays and rugged landscape. Maybe it can bring some inspiration to your future trips?

SLEEP

Bill&Coo, Megali Ammos Beach, Mykonos Town

Small boutique hotel with great infinity pool, great food and walking distance to town.

San Giorgio, Paraga Bay

Beautifully decorated hotel 10 mins drive from town and airport. Same owners as Scorpios so expect boho chis at its best.

Santa Marina, Ornos Bay

Larger hotel with great location, great bay for kids and facilities. Beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfast and a cool beach shop where you can buy Marte Frisnes Jewellery!

EAT

Spilia,Anna Agia Beach

One of our favourites, stunning food with even more brilliant view. A bit of a trek to get to but worth the journey.

Nammos, Psarou Beach

Get in early for lunch if you want to eat and people watch. Post lunch turns into a lively scene with people normally ending up dancing on the tables. Upmarket shopping just behind the restaurant where you can find Luisa, Eres and Dior.

Alemagou, Ftelia Beach

Some of the best food on the island (the taramasalata is to die for) and super stylish decor and chic crowd.

Nautilus, Lakka (Old Post Office), Chora

Fantastic taverna in town, great for families and serves the freshest fish and seafood.

Sea Satin, Little Venice, Chora

An institution in Mykonos, out of season quiet and lovely, in peak season its more of a party place than an eating place. But worth a visit, tucked in under the famous wind mills overlooking Little Venice.

DRINK

Caprice, Little Venice, Chora

Another institution in Mykonos, gets busy but if you can grab a table outside its a fantastic spot for an night cup.

Scorpios, Paraga Beach

Whilst the location, decor and food is definitively worth to mention, its become one of the biggest party scenes. Great for both lunch and dinner, expect great DJ's and a fun crowd. Also check out their shop, Caravana.

EXPLORE

Shopping

Mykonos Town has some amazing shopping, from cheap souvenirs to high end designer shops.

Churches of Chora

Walking the streets of Mykonos Town is an adventure, there seems to be new discoveries every time. My personal favourite is Panagia Paraportiani, stunning in its starkness and I never bore of looking at it.

Archeological Museum of Mykonos, Chora

Beautiful little museum just above the harbour, definitely worth a stop if you're bored of eating and sunbathing.

Hike, everywhere

With breathtaking hills and coves everywhere its a great place to get your trainers on and walk.

Enjoy,
